painted chair 2 - 2025
similar to the first chair i painted, my inspiration came from the natural world (snails, crabs, plants, fish, snakes, turtles, octopus, shrimp, jellyfish, bugs, dragonflies, geese, cats, whales, frogs). i also took a lot of inspiration from ukrainian folk art. the combination of ancient symbols and silly animals feels perfect and honest.
