this shelf was made for my friend meredith. i used colours that fit her palette & was heavily inspired by ukrainian folk art. i snuck a couple snails in too, but most of the designs were pulled from traditional items such as carved platters, rushnyky, and painted tiles. it is so fulfilling to connect with my ukrainian heritage through art.
